Sun-Gazing

Something interesting that was posting on the Metapara's FB.  Thought I'd share here.

Seems to me like it's taking advantage of the eye being an incredibly quick method of absorbing chemicals into the blood stream.

By this same logic I'd actually try "Sun-Licking". XD Under the tongue is a faster way to absorb chemicals directly into the bloodstream I could imagine someone standing in front of a setting Sun with their mouth wide open and tongue up at the top of their mouth.

but seriously, what do you think about this?
sure sounds interesting.. if it is true, i wonder if you can simply direct subtle energy from the sun to yourself, doing so eventually, concentrating on one thing, something just jumps up gnosis in my head.

im sure it can be achieved through other ways - gnosis. 
but is this way really true? youd think they'll put something like that on the news, or at least take a video of a flying man (:

do any of you know someone who tried sun-gazing?
