A follow up to this post;
Darkness that we perceive as real isn't darkness. It represents the quality of ignorance about our true identity. Therefore, what we consider darkness, such as hatred, anger, or chaos, exists as qualities of Light that have yet to be understood by oneself.
The Light, therefore, is the comprised totality of everything we experience. In the Light, we discover each of these qualities beyond the need for polarized concept of division/separation.
There is a lot of supplemental teaching that comes from the Tibetan Yogis about this, and I strongly recommend looking into that. I will post a couple of youtube videos in this post showing the reality of this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFSjxc2Vg14https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8szr8oPrxEThe first link is a documentary on the development of this sacred concept, and the second is a demonstration of the practices refined by these yogis in a modern setting. The master in the second video explains the concept of the heart sutra, and the elimination of competitive rivalry in the self. To over come this striving self is to overcome every external enemy that may arise.
I believe very strongly that this is a foundational concept we must master before entering into any other metaphysical practice. Without the mastery of our hearts, our mental/soul mastery into the spirit will inevitably lead to weakness that an agent of darkness will therefore take advantage of.
And when it comes to being a true guardian of the realms, it is a responsibility that we cannot by any means ignore. Food for thought!!
